- increase independence in daily life skills, such as showering, self-care, cooking, shopping, driving, work tasks, etc.
- maximize safety in performing daily life tasks (such as bathing/showering or running errands)
- decrease fatigue
- manage pain
- increase endurance
- design an appropriate exercise routine
- preserve joints
- improve sleep
- learn mindfulness, biofeedback, and breathing strategies for symptom management
- re-engage in social activities
- explore and/or re-engage in leisure and play activities
- learn time-management skills
- manage stress and identify coping strategies
- identify accommodations for school and/or work
- problem-solve adaptive equipment for modifying tasks
